Company Profile

Dr. Cindy started working in the practice of her father, Dr. Michael Weideman when she was only fourteen years old.  She worked during the summer months sterilizing instruments, filing charts and filling out insurance forms.  While she was still in high school, she became a register dental assistant and started assisting her dad with treating their little patients.  Dr Cindy is now a Board Certified Pediatric Specialist and Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr Kelvin Tse also worked in his father's dental office during the summer months making plaster models of teeth and assisting with dental procedures.  Dr Kelvin remembers his Dad, Dr. Kenneth Tse, telling him to always treat patients the way he would like to be treated himself.  He also learned from his Dad that one of the most important aspects of practicing dentistry is to listen carefully to his patients.

Dr. Cindy and Dr. Kelvin offer a unique dental home for families by combing their interests in children and adults together in one office, Smile Island Dental Group.
